Precaution
SLPB has excellent
safety characteristic, however if the handling is abnormal.
It may cause the leak, damage or to the cell harm to human-being
that is not responsible for the manufacturer, Thus we
advise to users to keep following precautions.
When the cell is damaged by knife or sharp tools, inside
electrolyte may be leaked and contaminates human body.
The electrolyte's solvents are very harmful to the skin
and eyes. Immediate washing with water shall be done.
If the protection device in the pack is damaged by external
shock or its failure, the cell could be charged with high
current or voltage which might cause the abnormal chemical
reaction inside the cell.
The cell should not be stored or kept with metallic
object such as keys, pins or wires. It might cause short
circuit and create heat and damages the cell.
Do not connect the cell with other electrical power
source than nominated charger. Excessive high voltage
might destroy the cell.
Do not store the cell besides an flame or heater. The
cell might be swelled and might cause short circuit because
of separator melting.
Do not use the cell with other batteries.
It might damage the cell or other batteries due to the
excessive discharge or the unbalanced discharge.
Do not use the protection device other than
specified one which meets our standards.
Do not store the cell after full discharging
no more than one month.
If the user wants to keep the cell more
than one month, please charge 50бн70%.
If charging is not completed even though
specified charging time is passed,
stop using the cell.
Aluminum is positive tab, nickel is negative
tab, follow the , sign on the cell.
When the tab is bent 180 degree, put the
insulating tape underneath the tab. Otherwise
it might cause the short circuit with exposed
aluminum material on the top of sealed area.
Do not bend or deform the cell, it might
cause the damage to the cell.
Do not connect 2 cells by serial or parallel
to get high capacity or high voltage.
